
Fashion & Apparel Draping Lab

The Draping Lab is located in Alison Hall West, room 305. It has four industrial Juki single needle sewing machines, a Singer overlock, and two coverstitch machines, as well as industrial pressing equipment. It also has size 8 women’s dressforms and a small number of men’s, children’s, plus-size, and half scale dressforms. FDPI students learn draping techniques (FASH324) and complete their capstone fashion design course (FASH484) in this lab.
