UD Makers
This is a constantly expanding list. Please send us an email if you identify with the ideology of making and want to be included in this list.
What does it mean to be a maker? Simply put, this designates University of Delaware faculty or staff that are involved in the production of physical things or experiences. This is an inclusive designation for all faculty and staff that embrace a hands-on/progressive/constructivist approach to learning or research. Makers typically cross disciplinary boundaries and strive to create active-learning environments where students learn-by-doing.
UD Makers are typically associated with a campus maker space, whether that is a shop, studio, classroom or research laboratory. Contact a member directly if you wish to learn more about their research, teaching or associated space.
