- Human geographer who uses food and agricultural production as a lens to explore the way humans interact with their environment.
- Conversant in topics related to international economic development and human geography, including fair trade certification and coffee production; human milk access and exchange; craft beer production and certification.
- Regional focus is primarily Latin America and the Caribbean. Also conducting research in Spain, the U.S. Pacific Northwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
