REP 24-25 Season Tickets are on Sale

New season brings five stunning stories to the stage

The Resident Ensemble Players (REP), UD’s resident professional theatre company, is excited to share its 17th season of plays.

Sept. 13 – 22
What the Constitution Means to Me, by Heidi Schreck. Challenging, hopeful, and funny – this play takes a sharp analysis at the biases inherent in our founding document and imagines how it will shape the next generation of Americans.

Sept. 19 – Oct. 6
The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again], by Adam Long, Daniel Singer and Jess Winfield. A fast-paced comedy guaranteed to have Shakespeare’s lovers and haters in stitches as it covers ALL his plays and sonnets in just one night.

Nov. 7 – 24
Rough Crossing, by Tom Stoppard. A laugh-out-loud farce. Two playwrights, one jealous composer, and the cast of a Broadway-bound show attempt to finish writing and rehearse a play while crossing the Atlantic on an ocean liner.

Feb. 13 – Mar. 2.
Misery, by William Goldman, based on the novel by Stephen King. This terrifying psychological thriller follows the disturbed mind of a former nurse as she holds her favorite author captive. As he struggles to escape, he realizes that the biggest challenge of his life will be surviving the wrath of his “number one fan."

Apr. 10 – 27
King Lear, by William Shakespeare. A classic tale full of betrayal and chaos. King Lear has decided to end his reign and divide his country among his three daughters. Loyalties are misjudged and Lear soon finds himself stripped of everything that once defined him.
