Therapy Approach

My therapeutic approach is integrative in nature. I pull heavily from interpersonal, existential and multicultural theories to support clients in reaching their goals. I strive to create an authentic and intentional therapy relationship, where we can explore the impact of relational factors, systems factors and identity factors, and work to create meaningful change in their lives.

Supervision Approach

My approach to supervision is couched in a developmental, interpersonal and multicultural framework. I strive to attend to the trainee’s strengths and challenges, as I believe we only grow and change by having the opportunity to make mistakes, learn from them and try again. I also work to attend to our supervisor and supervisee relationship and the histories we both bring into the room and what we can glean about what it means to do therapy and be clinicians. Finally, similar to my therapy approach, I value supervision that is authentic and intentional, where we can work together to support you in your training goals.
