Therapy Approach
My approach to therapy is integrative and humanistic, borrowing from theories such as solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and positive psychology. I believe that each student I support possesses in them the power to positively impact their situation and fulfill a meaningful college experience.
Supervision Approach
My approach to supervision leans heavily on a developmental model and establishing a relationship where trainees can identify and address growth areas, while embracing their unique characteristics and skills as clinicians, as they learn to become their authentic selves in the therapy room.
