Therapy Approach

My goal for working with clients is to help them feel more confident being themselves. I operate with a heavy focus on the relationships between people in the life of my clients because I believe that when people are good at connecting with others, their mental health is easier to maintain. This means getting what you need from others but also learning how to give others in your life what they need. In addition, my specialty area is sleep psychology and helping people have healthier sleep. This work relies heavily on changing beliefs and actions around your sleep lifestyle to make long-term gains.

Supervision Approach

My supervisory style is grounded in developmental understanding of a supervisee’s growth. I rely on my supervisee to be reflective of their needs for growth and challenge and be open to receiving feedback. My therapeutic work as an interpersonal process focused clinician will be part of what I encourage supervisees to attend to, but not necessarily adopt. My goal in supervision is to help my supervisee become comfortable as themselves in their clinical work, gaining confidence while making their clinical identity align with their personal identities.
