Students and young alumni are seeking out opportunities to gain professional experience through internships, jobs and gigs. The UD Career Center, Lerner Career Services Center and Graduate Student Professional Development are ready to work with you to recruit and hire talented Blue Hens for a variety of roles:

  • If you have a full-time, part-time, internship or temporary position available or are willing to make an introduction to your recruiting team, we are ready to work with you through our Hire a Hen Program to help you easily recruit UD talent.

College of Arts & Sciences Hen-to-Hen Internship Program

Graduates of the College of Arts & Sciences can serve an important role by offering UD students paid internship opportunities. By offering an internship, you’ll provide first-hand experience to students in your industry, help them build their network and strengthen their skills. Internships may be full or part time, on-site or remote.

Winter Term & Summer Job Shadow Program

Connect with a student one-on-one and guide them through a typical half day or full day at your job—providing them with an insider look of your workplace and industry. Sign up to host a student for a job shadowing experience during winter term.

Shadow opportunities may be virtual or in-person and can take place between Monday, January 8 through Friday, February 2, 2024. Complete this form to indicate that you want to host one or more UD students for Winter 2024 Job Shadow by Sunday, October. 29.
