Research

My research interests are positioned at the nexus of experiential learning and sustainable landscape construction and performance with the dissemination of these materials to communities in an accessible way. I am performing a comprehensive assessment of existing sustainable landscape construction techniques, evaluating their environmental impact, resource efficiency, and long-term performance. The outcomes of this initial research may shed light on innovative methods of sustainable landscape construction, ranging from new planting techniques to low-tech landscape implementations, and contribute to peer-reviewed literature and publications suitable for a broad audience. Publications will be made that provide accessible information on plant selection, planting strategies, and green infrastructure, backed by researched performative values. New sustainable construction methods will be shared with professionals at conferences and in publications.
