About Us

Summer STEM Education Fellowship

The Summer STEM Education Fellowship is a prestigious, competitive internship program for any undergraduate with a major in science, engineering, computer science or mathematics. STEM Education Fellows work alongside teachers to provide engaging, research-aligned learning opportunities to Delaware youth in informal settings. Our STEM Education Fellows have developed and co-taught summer camps on coding, engineering design, the local watershed, green technologies, health sciences, neurosciences and robotics.

STEM Education Fellows work up to 30 hours per week in their internship and receive a stipend commensurate with their investment in the community.

Applications are accepted January through mid-March each year for the upcoming summer. Applications are submitted through UD's Community Engagement Initiative.
