Our Venues



The University of Delaware Department of Music offers a variety of concert and performance venues across its campus in Newark, Delaware.

Most UD School of Music performances are also live streamed for those unable to attend in person.

The main venues include:
 

Amy E. du Pont Music Building

  • Loudis Recital Hall

Bayard Sharp Hall

  • The hall is a historic building that houses a Jefferson Pipe Organ and is used for organ recitals and other musical events.

Mitchell Hall

  • Mitchell Hall is the University of Delaware’s largest proscenium theater. Situated in the heart of campus, it seats 648 audience members and boasts state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems.

Music Practice Rooms

  • Practice rooms on the second floor of the Center for the Arts and the first floor of Amy E. du Pont are open only to music majors and minors, and students registered for large ensembles.

Roselle Center for the Arts

  • Gore Recital Hall - an intimate performance space
  • Puglisi Orchestra Hall - a larger, livelier concert hall
