Student Clubs and Organizations

Joining a student club or organization within the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware offers opportunities to learn about interesting math topics and applications, find research and career opportunities, network with professors and professionals, and gain special access to internships and networking opportunities, all while being part of a supportive community.

The central umbrella organizations in the mathematical sciences are the American Mathematical Society, the Mathematical Association of America and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. These organizations provide many resources for students and young mathematicians. For those interested in the actuarial sciences, the Society of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuary Society host a wide range of resources for students.
