Biography
Dr. Stephanie Raible is an Associate Professor of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Horn Entrepreneurship, Department of Business Administration) in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics and an Affiliated Faculty in the Biden School of Public Policy and Administration. She also served as the Faculty Director of the undergraduate minor and certificate programs in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Faculty Co-Director of the graduate certificate in Leadership in Social Innovation, under the Graduate College and in partnership with the Biden School and Lerner. She is the co-author of the book, “Social entrepreneurship: A practice-based approach to social innovation,” with Dr. J. H. Kucher, and she has authored other several entrepreneurship education journal and case publications. Outside the university, she has been a nonprofit board member for several organizations, including the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE, 2024-27) and the Social Enterprise Alliance (SEA, 2020-22). In Spring 2025, she will be on sabbatical for a Fulbright Scholar award to serve as a Visiting Professor with the Management Center Innsbruck (MCI) in Innsbruck, Austria. Dr. Raible’s work has been recognized with four notable honors, including the University of Delaware Excellence in Teaching Award, the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) Excellence in Social Entrepreneurship Award, the Deshpande Symposium Excellence in Curriculum Innovation in Entrepreneurship Award, and Delaware Business Times (DBT) 40 under 40 “DBT40” Award.
