Next Year's Housing

The returning student application for 2025-2026 housing is available now to rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, students enrolled in a 4+1 or 3+2 program, and Associate in Arts students transitioning to Newark campus in the fall who want to live on-campus. Housing for returning students is not required or guaranteed, but interested students must apply by the posted deadline to be considered for a space. The application can be accessed in the My Housing Portal starting in the afternoon on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 through 5 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025.  It is not first come first served and does not require an application fee. Once the application closes on February 28, we will not accept additional applications. Our ability to offer a late, non-guaranteed application for students who miss the deadline will depend on space availability and may not be announced until the summer.

Spring Break Application Open February 24–March 20

While our apartment-style residence halls stay open, traditional and suite-style residence halls close for Spring Break at 7pm on March 21 and reopen at noon on March 30. Apartment residents will keep access to their unit during the break and don't need to vacate or complete a break application. All other students must vacate their hall by the posted closing time. Those who need a late stay or need to stay on campus for any portion of the break must complete a Spring Break application in the My Housing Portal between February 24 and March 20 at 5pm. Newly admitted, first-year students are required to live on-campus for the academic year of their admittance. The housing application for Fall 2025 first-year admits joining the Newark campus is expected to open in the My Housing Portal by mid-March. Check back with our office or visit our website around that time for more details.
