- w95rsts.zip (3.5 Mb)
This one is built and ready to go from Gary Luckenbaugh. It includes RSTS/E V7.0-07 installed on an RM03 pack and a compiled version of the simulator for Win95 (including the bug fix from Bob Supnik). Gary has installed most of the CUSPS including all the patches from the Patch disk. Not installed are the spooling subsystem and larger packages, although they've been tried on another build and they do work. TECO and RSX are installed.
- rsts-built.tar.gz (3.4 Mb)
Here, you will find two prebuilt RSTS/E V7.0-07 systems on RL01 packs as prepared by Chuck Cranor. There is a minimal system and a fully loaded system. Since these are RL01's, they require a bit less space than Gary's RM03 system. Also, Chuck has included a detailed document that describes how to build your own RSTS system from scratch or how to add packages of your choosing to his minimal system. With this document, you should be able to get by without a SYSGEN manual.
- rsts7.0-07.tar.gz (3.5 Mb)
This is the original distribution of RSTS/E V7.0-07 from DEC on 3 RL01 packs. You get to build it from the ground up.

Go here to get the C sources and documentation for Bob Supnik's simulators. You will also find other retro operating systems such as RT-11, PDP-1 LISP, PDP-7 SIM8, PDP-8 ESI-X and OS/8, TOPS-10 and TOPS-20, DG Nova RDOS, and a some early versions of PDP-11 UNIX.And best of all, this is all totally legal, as long as you comply with this license from Mentec Inc., the current owners of RSTS.
