I think you're confusing the CC's 9200? Xerox Laser Printing System with
whatever Dan did in the EE Lab.

Dan:
1) interfaced the first (parallel!) LA30 to the EE Lab PDP-8
	leaving the console serial one for us to play with later.
2) wrote a bit-mapped character display program for the Tek storage
	display on the PDP-8 - watching him just type in assembly
	code on the fly was scary.
3) built a serial interface for some hoary old cal-comp plotter.

these were all things that he did before Delta moved to DuPont, if
i get the timing right - it was during the era when EE had one
PDP-8 and and just gotten the PDP-8L (Civil Eng had a PDP-8/S) and
long before the EE Lab turned into a sea of PDP's and Vaxen.
