Personal info
Hello! My name is Li-An, pronounced like Lee-Ann in English. I'm a mathematics Ph.D candidate at the University of Delaware and I'm working on topics related to polynomials over finite fields. I was born in Taichung City, Taiwan, and spent my childhood in Hualien, Osaka (Japan), Taoyuan, and Taipei. I discovered my passion for mathematics late-- in the last year of my undergraduate studies in NTU, after attending various courses from ten departments and lab experiences in hydraulics and river morphology. I hold a black belt in judo and like to watch professional judo competitions. I also like mysteries, GeoGuessr, board games and card games.
