I currently work in the Network & Systems Services (NSS), branch of the Information Technologies department at the University of Delaware as a System Programmer III. Previously I worked as a Campus Information Technology Associate II for the departments of Development and Alumni Relations. Day to day duties at NSS involve a variety of tasks, from programming to router and switch configuration to database and system administration. I have approximately ten years of experience as an administrator of Linux, Solaris, HP-UX and Windows servers as well as a wide array of Juniper routers and switches. In January of 2011 I was assigned as the primary administrator of the university's new VMware clusters. These have grown considerably since and now run upwards of three hundred virtual machines for various departments across campus. This site mainly holds examples of code I've written over the past few years as well as any free software I'm currently working on. Occasionally I'll also post examples of particular network configurations I've come up with to meet specific needs. Feel free to use anything you find here, and if you do, please let me know at blue@udel.edu. Also any bug catches and suggestions for improvement are very much appreciated.
