Once a Blue Hen, always a Blue Hen.
If you’re graduating this spring, congratulations! We hope you reflect on your time at the University of Delaware with pride. UD is here for you, even after you cross the stage in a few weeks. Below is a list of several services you can take advantage of this summer, plus ways to access alumni resources:
- Hang on to your UD email address! Find more information from UDIT on how to transition your technology to alumni accounts, including Google, WordPress, Zoom, Office 365, OneDrive and more.
- Want to keep free access to job and internship postings through your Handshake account? You’ll first need to create an alumni account following these steps below:
- Go to udel.joinhandshake.com/login.
- Enter your udel.edu email address (username@udel.edu)
- Select University of Delaware Alumni or Log in Using Email and Password.
- Select Forgot Your Password to reset your password. Handshake will send you an email with a link to reset your password. Follow the prompts and you will have access to everything in Handshake that you developed and enjoyed during your time as a student!
- All wellbeing services, including appointments via Student Health Services and Center for Counseling & Student Development, are available to recent graduates until June 15. Visit the Student Wellbeing website for details.
- The virtual counseling app TimelyCare is available for students 60 days after graduation. If you’re returning home or relocating for employment and looking for a provider, reach out to CCSD Care Coordination services for assistance. If you plan on attending graduate school outside of UD, CCSD encourages you to reach out to the counseling center of your receiving institution to get connected early to their resources.
- UD Recreation alumni memberships are available for recent graduates after graduation once degrees are confirmed. Learn more online and purchase a membership.
- As a member of the UD Alumni Association, you’re eligible to receive benefits including credit cards and banking services, season ticket discounts, a free subscription to UD Magazine and more. Check out the full list of alumni benefits.
- Register for your first Alumni Weekend, May 31–June 2. Celebrate your new status as a graduate with a weekend full of Blue Hens from all class years. Enjoy a Rock the Roost concert, ice cream social, 5K, craft beer fest and more.
Congratulations again on your outstanding achievement! Please know that the University is always here for you as you embark on your post-graduate journey.
