Survey Research Services

CADSR has built a reputation on helping clients plan and implement all phases of research tasks, from study design through analysis.

Successful research projects rely heavily on appropriate designs. CADSR has experience designing scripts, cover letters, training materials, and other survey instruments. We can help prepare and perform interviews, pre-tests, and research pilots. Whether you are just starting out or getting ready to submit, our staff can help in the design phase of your project.

CADSR uses Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) software and a trained team of interviewers to perform, high-quality telephone surveys. The software guides interviewers through questions that help maintain an accurate and smooth process. Interviewers follow strict protocols for conducting interviews, tracking respondents, and converting refusals to completed interviews. These procedures and skills are all learned during the interviewer training process.

CADSR designs, prints, and scans self-administered surveys where our center administers the entire data collection process utilizing established data collection procedures.  For mail surveys, CADSR provides cost effective envelope stuffing, mailing, and survey receiving services. Our center can facilitate each step of the mailing process including subject recruitment, pre-notification mailings, reminder postcards, and follow-up mailings.

Internet surveys are cost effective, and CADSR provides consultation on research strategies, questionnaire design, programming, and data management. Survey administration can be either open or closed. Most surveys are written using Qualtrics software, which allows us to create customized survey instruments for our clients. This package produces surveys that can be deployed through the web or email. We send invitation and follow-up emails to survey respondents, host surveys on our secure server, and allow clients to view instant response rates and summary statistics via a web portal.

CADSR has experience managing multi-mode projects which include telephone, self-administered and mail, and internet surveys. Many projects require multiple methods of data collection. Project details and specific needs or restrictions such as limited funding, the type of targeted audience, personnel limitations, or required response rates may make the multi-mode tactic necessary.
