Community Engagement: Certificate
The certificate, which is recorded on the student’s transcript, creates a scaffold by which scholars integrate their academic study in community engagement experiences through participation in coursework, community-focused graduate research or creative work, and hands-on experience. Scholars will maintain a portfolio that may contain reflection materials, research documents, a record of experiential hours and a final synthesis that documents their deepened understanding as a community engaged scholar.
Application Deadlines
Current University of Delaware graduate students may apply for the graduate community engagement certificate by submitting the graduate certificate enrollment request form to Liza Amatetti at lama@udel.edu.
*International applicants are not eligible to obtain a U.S. student visa solely with an acceptance to a UD graduate certificate program. Certificates may be added by full-time matriculated graduate students.
UD Tuition
The 2024-2025 UD graduate student tuition rate per credit hour is $1,069.
