We're a leader in preparing students for careers that have long-lasting impacts on our planet, which enables UD students to address large- and small-scale issues of communities and ecosystems and to tackle global issues from agriculture and animal science to water policy and wind power.

A Dedicated Research Institute

The Delaware Environmental Institute (DENIN) focuses on core research areas relevant to some of the grand challenges facing our state, our nation, and our world. DENIN research informs decision makers by providing the knowledge that underpins sound environmental policies. By working together with our local and international partners, we are bringing socially acceptable, economically viable, and environmentally sustainable solutions to life.

DENIN serves as an interdisciplinary network of research, knowledge and solutions dedicated to safeguarding the environment.
