Dr. Pia Inguito has been a faculty member since 1997. She was Director of the Undergraduate BSN programs from 2015 to 2022 and has taught at all levels in the undergraduate program in the medical-surgical clinical setting for over 20 years. Her previous clinical background as an Army nurse and as a civilian was in cardiothoracic, orthopedic, joint replacement surgery, and trauma. Her current focus is teaching freshmen, sophomore and junior students in their labs, simulation and clinical practica courses. She is also a Faculty Fellow for the Dr. Jeanne K. Buxbaum Gerontology Scholars where she coordinates the undergraduate and graduate nursing scholar community experiences and projects.
