Melinda Acevedo is an instructor in the School of Nursing and a Simulation Specialist in the Center for Simulation Innovation, Interdisciplinary Education and Entrepreneurship (CSIIDEE). She received her MSN in Nursing Leadership-Education from Wilmington University and her BSN from University of Delaware. Melinda is a Board Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator with 15 years of clinical experience in acute care. Melinda primarily teaches adult health med-surg across the curriculum in laboratory, simulation and clinical settings. Her interests focus on facilitating experiential learning experiences to enhance clinical education.
