Advisory committee

The Advisory Committee is comprised of healthcare providers, industry representatives, alumni, and educators who share a common goal of assuring that the medical & molecular science program is innovative and of the highest quality. With the assistance of the Advisory Committee, visionary planning for the future of the program is of the utmost importance. The responsibilities of the Advisory Committee include the following:

• to provide perspective about the current relevancy of the curriculum;
• to evaluate program effectiveness as employers and recommend changes when needed;
• to provide perspective about the medical & molecular scientist staffing needs of the region;
• to provide input into staff utilization trends in clinical facilities in the region;
• to provide liaison between the University and clinical affiliates;
• to provide liaison between the Program and the University when needed; and
• to provide assistance in procurement of resources from manufacturers, hospitals, alumni, etc.
