Researchers at the University of Delaware are conducting a research study for healthy men and women age 18 to 45 to better understand the effects of dietary potassium and salt on blood vessel health.

The purpose of this study is to determine if a high potassium diet can lessen the effect of salt on blood vessel function in people with normal blood pressure.

There are 4 study visits over approximately 4 months at the UD campus. All participants will receive free food and information about their blood pressure, cholesterol level and body fat.

Interested individuals in the age range can fill out the interest form and will be contacted by the research team to set up an initial health screening at the University of Delaware to see if they are eligible to participate.
