Exercise Physiologist taking biometric measurements of a mid-life adult in a gym setting

Researchers at the University of Delaware are examining the impact of 12 weeks of aerobic exercise training on cardiovascular health in mid-life adults.

Participation includes four lab visits at UD for approximately 11 total hours over 14-16 weeks. In addition, you will complete a 12-week exercise program requiring 3 days of exercise at the University of Delaware and 2-3 days at home.  At the beginning of the study, there are two visits that will involve  health and fitness testing.  These two testing visits will be repeated after the 12 weeks of exercise.

Interested individuals in the age range can schedule a screening call and will be contacted by the lab to set up an initial health screening at the University of Delaware to see if they are qualified to participate in the study.
