Dr. Lodyga is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Behavior and Nutrition Sciences. He earned his B.S and M.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from Indiana University and his Ph.D in Health Education from Southern Illinois University. He is also a Certified Health Education Specialist and Health Coach. His research interests primarily focus on analyzing biopsychosocial and ecological factors that influence human health and behaviors. He is especially interested in examining constructs of motivational and behavioral theories with special consideration to evidence-based interventions that decrease risky behaviors and improve health outcomes.
