Free Alumni Tutoring

All of us at the University of Delaware English Language Institute hope that this resource can help you refresh and continue practicing your English, even after leaving your ELI home!

Our tutors are available to help you improve your English skills, answer questions, or practice your English with a native or fluent speaker.

ELI Skype Tutors

Are you graduating from your ELI program? Are you interested in continuing to get help with English after you leave us? You can do this with the ELI Alumni Tutoring Program using the online Skype platform (similar to Zoom). This program is not for current students or other English language learners, but is available and free to all ELI alumni.

To access alumni tutors you should download Skype and add our name (ud_eli_alumnitutor) to your Skype contact list.  If you then leave us a message requesting access, we will get back to you.  We will need to know your name, when you were enrolled at the ELI, and a current email address, and then we can chat, either with IM texts or real-time video, as you prefer.  Alumni tutors are online Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:50 a.m., and again from 4:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m., whenever the ELI is in session.

Come and visit us; we’ll be glad to hear from you!
