Getting Involved

The University of Delaware's Department of Theatre and Dance offers a vibrant community for students to explore their creativity and develop their talents in classrooms on campus, on the stage and across the globe. From acting in mainstage productions to choreographing original dance pieces, joining student organizations, to working behind the scenes, the department provides a nurturing environment for artistic expression and personal growth.

Resident Ensemble Players (REP)

In certain instances, it is possible for undergraduate students to get parts in REP plays. This can be done for credit as part of a practicum or just on a volunteer basis. Spaces are limited and availability is subject to change. If you are curious about any possible roles for the current or upcoming season, please contact our department at theatredance@udel.edu.

National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA)

NHSDA recognizes leadership, artistic merit and academic achievement in students studying dance at UD. Students who have taken a minimum of one dance course and have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA in their dance courses may become a member of NHSDA. Membership is a wonderful opportunity to engage with other students and perform, teach and graduate with honors in dance.
