Biography
Becky Ludkiewicz is an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the Music Industry Studies program in the School of Music at the University of Delaware, teaching Marketing and Audience Engagement in the Performing Arts. Becky earned her Bachelor’s in Music Management and MBA from the University of Delaware as part of its 4+1 program and was an active member of the UD Chorale and Symphony Orchestra ensembles. She is thrilled to be contributing to the very same program that jumpstarted her abundant career in arts administration.
Becky is the Director of Business Development at Capacity Interactive, the leading digital marketing consulting firm for arts and cultural organizations. In her 10 years there, Becky has partnered as a lead marketing consultant with over 100 organizations across North America, including prominent symphony orchestras, operas, performing arts centers, theatres, dance companies, and museums. She currently heads up the firm's business development by leading prospective client conversations, working closely with marketing departments and executive leaders to develop strategies that center around audience growth and retention.
Becky has a passion for educating the cultural sector and inspiring future arts leaders. As a frequent speaker at key industry events, Becky has led core marketing sessions for the League of American Orchestras, Opera America, and Arts Reach national conferences. She has conducted numerous workshops for regional arts alliances across North America and has appeared on career panels at colleges and universities. She developed the new hire onboarding program for Capacity Interactive, personally training and coaching nearly half of the current consulting staff.
In her spare time, Becky enjoys spending time with her New Jersey-based family of four, seeking out fun new experiences, and coming up with good (or bad) puns.
