Biography

Kristen Begosh received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Connecticut. She is interested in learning and memory in applied contexts. Specifically, she examines how musicians and bards memorize very lengthy works for performance. She also studies how the way in which information is presented during class can influence students' ability to recall it on a test.

Research Projects

Are some ways of presenting information better than others? This project examines how the way in which information is presented on information graphics programs, such as PowerPoint, can influence how well students recall that information later.
