SUSI Foreign Policymaking

About

Focused on U.S. foreign policymaking, this program annually provides 18 participants a wide array of activities to facilitate more informed exchanges between experts in the United States and other countries. The goal is that these exchanges will grow a long-lasting global epistemic community.

The program is designed to consider U.S. foreign policy from both theoretical and applied approaches, as participants will engage diverse speakers who offer unique perspectives on the processes of U.S. foreign policymaking. To accomplish this, the intensive academic program includes lectures, readings, roundtable discussions, open forums, guided tours and social activities with faculty, students and local communities. Scholars continue this immersive experience as alumni through coffee hours and other opportunities organized by institute staff.
