Biography
Erin C. Cassese, PhD (Stony Brook University, 2007) joined the department in 2018. She offers courses on topics like political psychology and political behavior, along with campaigns and elections, social movements, and political communication. Her current research focuses on voter psychology, with an emphasis on the role gender plays in political campaigns and elections. Professor Cassese is the Associate Director of UD’s Center for Political Communication. She enjoys working with students on the Center’s data collection efforts. Cassese is also active in the university’s Honors Program and is the faculty advisor for the RSO Women in Law and Politics. Cassese is also a Senior Researcher at the Geena Davis Institute.
