Biography
Post-Doctorate Research Assistant: Prof. Kent R. Wilson & Dr. Chris Barty, Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, University of California San Diego, CA; Ph.D. Physics, Stony Brook University, NY; Graduate Research, Advisor Dr. Louis F. DiMauro, Department of Chemistry, Brookhaven National Lab, NY; B.A. Chemistry and B.A. Physics, Point Loma Nazarene University, CA
Research
Research on ultrafast and high-intensity lasers in atomic, molecular, and optical systems. Experimental and theory work includes semi-classical and quantum systems interacting with light and developing new laser science technology. Applications include 21st century x-ray sources, high-power lasers, modeling complex dynamics, and experimental apparatus for precision high energy and relativistic measurements.
