Physics Help Center

 

The Physics Help Center, located in Sharp Lab 101B, is a place where students in introductory physics and astronomy courses can come for assistance with homework, studying, lab reports and other questions regarding physics concepts. The help center is generally open during weekday afternoons and evenings of the Fall/Spring semesters and Winter session. Physics Teaching Assistants are on duty available to help with the following courses:

  • PHYS133 Introduction to Astronomy
  • PHYS 144 Concepts of the Universe
  • PHYS 201 Introductory Physics I
  • PHYS 202 Introductory Physics II
  • PHYS 207 Fundamentals of Physics I
  • PHYS 208 Fundamentals of Physics II

Hours 

Fall and Spring:

Mond​​ay - Thursday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

Friday:​ 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Wi​nter: 

Monday - Thursday: 1 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Friday: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

 

No appointment is necessary.

Help with more advanced courses may be available dependent on the Teaching Assistants on duty.​​
