Biography

Richard Hanley, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Delaware. He earned his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Maryland, College Park. His areas of specialization are metaphysics and philosophy of language. His areas of interest include applied ethics; philosophy of gender, race, and sexuality; persons; distributive justice; and fiction.
