Hoda Bazzi
Senior majoring in public policy and international relations
"Walking through ancient Rome was amazing. It was raining that day, but that didn’t stop us from seeing the homes of people who lived there, learning about the city buildings, and seeing the entire city from a high point in ancient Rome."
Claire Houghton
Degree: 2024, B.S.N.
"We got to see many famous artists’ works including Michelangelo, Picasso and Van Gogh. We ended the tour by seeing the Sistine Chapel. While we were not allowed to get picture, I will forever have the image of the ceiling in my head."
Mia Carbone
Degree: 2021, B.A. in political science and communication
"Being here the entire semester has already allowed me to go places I never thought I would (Brussels, anyone?), and meet people I never would have."
Jacob Leinenbach
Degree: 2022, B.S. in finance and operations management
"Having taken Italian in school for the past few years has definitely helped since I can speak with some of the locals in their own language, but the language barrier here has not been a problem for me so far because most of the people I’ve interacted with speak both English and Italian."
Paige Sullivan
Degree: 2024, B.S. in global enterprise management
"I have never had a semester where I don’t have class five days a week. This gives me loads of time to walk around Rome exploring, and also time to travel! This week, I focused on my studies and getting my work done during the week because I ended the week with a trip to Paris, France!"
