Student Testimonials
Don’t take our word for it — Check out what UD students had to say!
Julia Sonn
Degree: 2024, H.B.S. in medical diagnostics
"My first week in Athens has been a whirlwind experience full of sightseeing, history lessons, amazing food, and of course, an immersive shadowing experience within Evangelismos Hospital, one of the largest public hospitals in Greece."
Sydney Shuster
Degree: 2020, B.S. in medical laboratory science
"The Parthenon is important to Athens because it is the Temple of Athena, the goddess after whom the city is named. Other structures are present on the Acropolis, and a hill on which the Athenian court used to meet is situated near the Acropolis. It was an incredible experience to be so close to the place where democracy started."
Nicholas Kayatta
Degree: 2022, B.S. in financial planning and wealth management
"The Acropolis is something that I have waited to see my entire life and it took my breath away climbing the last steps to the top and seeing the Parthenon with my own eyes. The view was other worldly from the top and is something I will never forget."
Sarah Minacci
Degree: 2022, B.S. in biological sciences
"In just a few weeks time, I have seen so much of this amazing country with stops in Corfu, Thebes, Delphi, Corinth, Nemea, Nafplio and many other places. Athens now feels like a second home to me."
Sophia Kayatta
Degrees: 2024, M.S. in health promotion; 2022, B.S. in health behavior science
"The Greek citizens are so nice and welcoming – they make me feel comfortable and are always willing to answer my questions!"
