Biography

​Olivia Amzallag, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of French and specializes in French applied linguistics and pedagogy. Her dissertation The Effects of Increasing Object Pronoun Input Frequency on the Oral Comprehension of 3rd Person Object Pronouns among Second Semester Classroom Learners of French was published in 2017. Dr. Amzallag continuously publishes and presents on topics related to textbook evaluation & practical classroom linguistic research. She has served as a board member for the Greystone Nature Preserve, has served on selection committees, has advised several French clubs across institutions and has coordinated Pi Delta Phi & the Teacher Opportunity Corps, as well as served as the coordinator for language education. She is also an avid member of the Chautauqua Institution community where she has been operating a successful seasonal business for over a decade.
