Biography

​Lara Boyero Agudo is an assistant professor in Spanish in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures. Although she specialized in developing materials for Spanish Heritage/Native Speakers with a focus on Language and Gender, her research interests include: critical pedagogy, curricular design, and sociolinguistics. In addition to her research, she develops open source materials for Spanish Heritage/Native Language classrooms using critical pedagogy and incorporating the service learning approach.
