Biography
Aurelia Rio, assistant professor of Spanish, received her Ph.D. from Temple University in 2015 and has taught at UD since 2003. Her academic research interests include Spanish for the professions, online learning and 2L acquisition, and civilization and culture through film. Dr. Rio teaches courses in Spanish for specific purposes, Spanish conversation and oral communication, LA and Spanish civilizations and cultures, and Spanish language. She serves as the Spanish for Healthcare Minor advisor and has directed several study abroad programs.
