April Kendra
Biography
April Kendra holds a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of Georgia. She joined the University of Delaware in 2011 with a joint appointment in English and Women and Gender Studies. Her teaching and research interests focus on the construction and reception of popular genres, including the 19th-century fashionable (or "silver fork") novel, YA fiction, chick lit, and vampire narratives. She is also the faculty sponsor for UD's chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.
