Amish Trivedi
Biography
Amish Trivedi is mostly a poet with three books of poetry and a Ph.D. from Illinois State University and an M.F.A. from Brown University. His teaching and research interests include critical theory, creative writing, and the role of higher education going forward. His book project, A Wing in a Crumbling Mansion: Poetry and the Post-Historical University considers the field of poetry in the United States as one centered around institutions of higher education and the effects that fifty+ years of neoliberalism have had on poetry's production. Recent critical work is in Post45 and Pedagogy.
