BioGSA & Graduate Student Organizations
Students have many opportunities for engagement and support in graduate organizations available at UD
Many of our students choose to participate in the BioGSA (Biology Graduate Student Association), which, from their mission statement, “provides opportunities and community to biology graduate students in order to increase their productivity, connections, and networking opportunities to further their career goals.” Current information on BioGSA and events is available on the BioGSA website.
Students from Biological Sciences were active in starting and maintaining the UD Chapter of SACNAS, the Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science. Current information on the SACNAS chapter is online.
