Engage, Learn and Be Inspired
The Center for Political Communication (CPC) at the University of Delaware is dedicated to fostering civil discourse, engaging the campus community and beyond, and inspiring the next generation of political leaders. As part of this mission, CPC hosts a variety of free public events that bring together experts, policymakers and thought leaders to discuss the most pressing issues of our time.
Since 2011, CPC has presented National Agenda, a highly regarded fall speaker series featuring Washington insiders, authors, journalists, politicians and artists. These discussions offer unique insights into American politics, media and culture, providing students and the public with opportunities to engage directly with influential voices shaping the national conversation.
In election years, CPC also organizes Delaware Debates, a crucial forum where voters can hear directly from Delaware’s gubernatorial and congressional candidates. These debates give the public a chance to learn about candidates’ positions on key issues and participate in the democratic process.
Through these signature programs and other events, CPC continues to serve as a hub for meaningful political dialogue and civic engagement. Stay connected and informed — follow the CPC on Instagram and join the email list for the latest updates on upcoming programs.
