The Linguistics and Cognitive Science Department is hosting NACLO (North American Computational Linguistics Open) on January 23rd!

This is a national annual competition open to middle school and high school students. We welcome students who love puzzles, have an interest in language, machine learning, logical problem solving, and more! No experience is necessary, and participation is free.

Compete for a chance to participate in the International Linguistics Olympiad in Taipei next July and go up against students from all over the world!

Learn more about this competition at www.naclo.org, or by contacting Prof. Nadya Pincus (npincus@udel.edu).

Register by going to https://www.naclo.org/registration_page.php, and select our site (University of Delaware) when signing up.

Competition will be held in Ewing Hall, Room 436 from 10 am – 1 pm.
