Embracing Diversity, Championing Equity and Inclusion


Diversity, equity, and inclusion are crucial for fostering an enriching academic environment in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Delaware. The college prioritizes assembling diverse research teams with varied perspectives and backgrounds, promoting equitable opportunities and support for all of our scholars to thrive.

This commitment to DEI enhances the integrity of research, challenges traditional power structures, and drives innovation by elevating marginalized voices. 

The college recognizes that diversity alone is insufficient; intentional efforts toward equity and inclusion are vital to creating truly inclusive spaces where all students and faculty feel valued and can reach their full potential.
