Bio:
A native of Dover and former member of Woodside Emeralds 4-H Club, Katie Young has a BA in Mass Communications (with a minor in Interactive Media) and an MA in Strategic Communication. During her career she has spent time working at Delaware State Parks, the Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays.
In her current role as the new Digitial Content Specialist for UD Extension, Katie works hard to bring the work of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and UD Cooperative Extension to the people of Delaware. In her spare time, Katie enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her friends, family, cats and husband, Matt.
