Biography
Alaina V. Robinson is a Policy Specialist II at the Institute for Public Administration (IPA) in the Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy and Administration. Alaina works with the Education Services team on policy research and public service projects. Her research focuses on improving student outcomes in the city of Wilmington with the Redding Consortium for Educational Equity and promoting access to higher education for Delaware students through College Application Month.
Previously, Alaina worked as a legislative fellow in the Washington, D.C. office of U.S. Senator Chris Coons (D-DE). As a fellow, Alaina worked on health and education policy on Capitol Hill. Alaina graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with high distinction from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in Political and Social Thought. Alaina earned a master's degree in Education Policy at the University of Pennsylvania. At Penn, Alaina worked as a College and Career Preparation Graduate Associate at the Educational Talent Search Program. Alaina is a Delaware native from Camden, Delaware.
